History: the 1st iodpc was organised very successfully during 2007-2008, under the auspices of the Federation International de l’Art Photographique (FIAP) and attracted nearly 7.000 photographers from 105 countries and more than one and a half million views. Subjects: ‘Environment’ and ‘Open’.
Objectives: promotion of the art of photography, Cyprus and friendship.
Exhibition: winning and selected photographs displayed in Cyprus and abroad. .
Promotion: multi-page articles about the first competition appeared in international photographic magazines: ‘Practical Photography’ (Βritish), ‘Phot’ Art International’ (French), ‘Νeafon’ (Germany) and ‘Photografos’, (Greek), ‘Fotozoom’ και ‘Luz Directa’ (Μexico) and in the Indian newspaper ‘India Daily News..
